The Emergency General Body Meeting of MANUUTA met on 2nd March 2009. The meeting was presided over by Prof. S A Wahab, President MANUUTA. The meeting started from 4.30 pm after the due quorum was completed.
The GBM decided to wait till Friday, 6th March 2009 for the letter of recognition to be given by the administration. In case the letter is not issued by the said date, a notice will be given for a MANUUTA strike commencing on Monday, 9th March 2009.
Other issues shall also be included in the strike.
The General Secretary requested the EC members to attend the EC meetings whenever it is held and appealed to all members of MANUUTA to pay their annual contribution of Rs.350 at the earliest.
