An emergency Executive Committee Meeting of MANUUTA was necessitated by the resignation of Prof. S A Wahab, President of MANUUTA. The following resolutions were passed by the EC that met on 9th March 2009 to discuss the issue.
Resolution 1
We, the members of the Executive Committee of MANUUTA that met on 09.03.09, accept the resignation of the elected President of MANUUTA, Prof. S A Wahab and nominate Vice President Dr Tariq Masoodi as the Acting President till the new elections are held, subject to the approval of the General Body as required by Article XII of the MANUUTA Bye Laws.

Resolution 2
We, the members of the Executive Committee of MANUUTA that met on 09.03.09, thanks Prof. S A Wahab for guiding MANUUTA as the elected President.
